New version available: OBS Studio 27.2.4
27.2.4 Hotfix Changes
- Fixed a bug where sources could show up in the mixer while using studio mode even when those sources weren’t active [cg2121]
- Fixed a bug where audio wouldn’t capture for people with older Windows versions [rcdrone]
- Fixed an incorrectly colored icon on the Rachni theme [Monsteer]
Important Note Regarding 32-bit and Other Outdated Operating Systems
OBS Studio 27.2.4 is the latest version supported by compatible 32-bit operating systems.
Also, it’s the latest version supported by Windows 8 regardless of bitness.
The upcoming version, OBS Studio 28.0, utilizes Qt 6, which no longer supports:
- all 32-bit operating systems,
- Windows 8.1 and older,
- macOS 10.14 and older,
- Ubuntu 18.04 and older.
